Yazd JAMI MOSQUE This magnificent 14th century structure worth visiting was built under the direction of Bibi Fatema Khatoun, wife of a former governor of Yazd, Amir Chakhmagh. This mosque with its beautiful mosaic dome and Mehrab, extraordinary high tile entrance portal and two minarets with inscription dominates the old city. In the courtyard, there is a stairway which you may be allowed to climb and see beautiful view of the old city.
