- National (or Archaeological) Museum of Iran-also called Muze-ye -Iran- e- Bastan (Museum of Ancient Iran)

- Collection includes pottery, ceramics, stone figures and carvings from 5th & 4th millennium BC.
- Four tablets inscribed in cuneiform, Darius I inscription, carved staircase, tiles from Apadana Palace, and salt man are some of the highlights.

Saltman - A 40's year old man, apparently wealthy, was found in a mummified condition inside a salt mine.
