Mashad Nishapur ATTAR-OD-DIN, KAMAL-OL-MOLK GHAFFARI In Nishapur is the Tomb of Farid od Din Attar, the 13th century famous mystic poet and writer who wrote the Parliament of the Birds. He wrote about 114 books and was an inspirer of Rumi. Attar was killed during the Mongul invasion of Nishapur. The Kamal-Ol-Molk Ghaffari monument, the most famous 20th century painter is in the same attractive and historic Mahrugh Garden.
