THE MOSQUE OF THE 72 PEOPLE

  • Previously known as Shah Mosque is located at the entrance of Great Market and built in 1435 AD.

MOSQUE OF THE 72 PEOPLE

  • Comprises of a main terrace, four smaller ones, two on each side of the main terrace with doorways to the inside, two mosaic tiles minarets at the corners of the building, and a tall tile dome with cornices and paintings.
  • Some archeological findings suggest that the mosque initially was the tomb of Amir Malekshah, the ruler of Toos.
