Kerman
TOMB OF SHAH NEMATOLLAH VALI
- This mausoleum is located outside of Kerman in the town of Mahan.
- Shah Nur od-Din Nematollah Vali lived up to hundred years of age (1331-1431). He was a poet, a sage, a sufi, and the founder of Nematollahi Sufi order. He was born in Aleppo (Syria) and spent most of his life in Iraq. He also lived for seven years in Mecca. He traveled to Samarqand, Herat, and Yazd. He spent the last years of his life in Mahan.
- The dome over the tomb of the well known Sufi leader dates back to the early 15th century. The complex is famous for its tilework and seven ancient wooden doors. The ceiling is quite spectacular.

- In the courtyard, there is a lake surrounded by cypress trees.
- If you climb to the roof, you can see two minarets from the Ghajar period.
