GANJALI KHAN BATH (MUSEUM)

  • Ganjali Khan Bath worth visiting is a museum that includes wax dummies showing what to do in a bathhouse bringing back the memory of everyday scenes from past.


Ganjali Khan Bath

  • This museum (previously a bathhouse) was built by the governor of Kerman, Ganjali Khan in 17th century. Narrow passages lead to a row of halls, each of which had a specific use such as massages, hot and cold bath. Objects that are displayed from previous periods are similar to objects used in bathhouses today.

  • Further to the North, there is another bathhouse called Ibrahim Khan (named after another governor) from 18th century. This bathhouse is still in operation.

  • While there, visit Ganjali Khan courtyard from Safavid Period, in the center of Vakil Bazaar (See Vakil Bazaar later) where people relax. Also, can visit coin museum.
