Hasanlu

  • In the south of Lake Orumiye, you can visit the archaelogical site of Hasanlu which was an important iron Age settlement. In the 9th century BC, the area in the south of Lake Orumiye was known as Mannai. At Hasanlu, the town and temple were inside the citadel protected by these long walls.
